The Things We Carry
Saini and Louise are performance makers. Their project, The Things We Carry is both site-specific performance encounters and subsequent exhibitions.
Through conversation, Saini and Louise wish to find out what people carry with them, in particular, what are the small forgotten items they have left in their pockets or bags weeks, months or years ago. A bus ticket? A key without a corresponding lock? A coin of foreign currency? We ask our participants to leave one item behind, while cataloguing the details of its origin, its owner and purpose.
